Watercolor paper IIIb – How to paint with watercolors layer by layer – step by step
Today (Jan. 25, 2020), I did the painting below:
Step I – I have the following video – step by step – of how I completed the painting above, and I am also giving some tips about another option of watercolor paper, type of pencil to sketch the drawing and options of watercolors to use, and paint brushes. See below:This is part I – painting layer by layer with watercolors – materials selection
Step II -Also, once the first layer of color is completed (before we continue working on the painting), it is time to dry it – as you will see I use a hair dryer to accelerate the drying process.
Step III – After the first dry of the painting, we continued with the second layer of color, and additions of some initial details. To accelerate the drying I used a hairdryer; this works for me because I like to work faster, but other people preferred to continue working on the painting until it dries naturally. See video below about this:This is part II-III – painting layer by layer with watercolors – adding the layers
Step IV – The video belows shows how to continue adding layers of color to a painting until details, and some effects are accomplished. This is part IV – adding more layers of colors, and some details
This the final part (V) of the demonstration of how to paint layer by layer in watercolors. This video also shows how to add the final details, evaluate the quality of the paper, and how to sign up your work. This is part V – final layers of color, addign final details, and signing (authorizing) your work
As presented above, theese are the final steps) of painting with watercolors layer by layer. To make a remark, below is the painting that was completed using this technique.
